Introduction

There are several reasons why you may want to suspend a hosting slot. For example:

  • You need to take the website offline temporarily for maintenance.
  • The client has not paid for the service.
  • Security issues or suspicious activity need to be addressed.
  • The client has requested a temporary pause of their hosting.
⚠️ Notice: Suspended hosting slots are still stored on the server. They are simply inactive, but they still count towards your total number of hosting slots.

How to Suspend a Hosting Slot

  1. Go to your Reseller Hub.
  2. Click the Actions menu next to the hosting slot you want to suspend.

  3. Select Suspend from the menu.

  4. The Suspend dialogue will open, where you can optionally enter a suspension reason.

  5. Click Suspend. The hosting slot will be taken offline immediately and marked as Suspended in your slot list.

How to Unsuspend a Hosting Slot

  1. Repeat the same steps above, but choose Unsuspend from the Actions menu.

  1. Once unsuspended, the hosting slot usually comes back online immediately. However, in some cases, there may be a short delay of a few minutes due to DNS propagation.
