Introduction
There are several reasons why you may want to suspend a hosting slot. For example:
- You need to take the website offline temporarily for maintenance.
- The client has not paid for the service.
- Security issues or suspicious activity need to be addressed.
- The client has requested a temporary pause of their hosting.
⚠️ Notice: Suspended hosting slots are still stored on the server. They are simply inactive, but they still count towards your total number of hosting slots.
How to Suspend a Hosting Slot
- Go to your Reseller Hub.
- Click the Actions menu next to the hosting slot you want to suspend.
- Select Suspend from the menu.
- The Suspend dialogue will open, where you can optionally enter a suspension reason.
- Click Suspend. The hosting slot will be taken offline immediately and marked as Suspended in your slot list.
How to Unsuspend a Hosting Slot
- Repeat the same steps above, but choose Unsuspend from the Actions menu.
- Once unsuspended, the hosting slot usually comes back online immediately. However, in some cases, there may be a short delay of a few minutes due to DNS propagation.
