Introduction

The Terminate function is used to permanently remove a hosting slot.

⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible and will result in:

  • All website data being deleted from the server.
  • Removal of any DNS records linked to the slot.
  • Deletion of all associated backups.

Once Termination is complete, the data cannot be recovered. Only use this option if you are absolutely certain.

How to Terminate a Hosting Slot

  1. Go to your Reseller Hub.
  2. Click the Actions menu next to the hosting slot you wish to terminate.

  3. Select Terminate from the menu.
  4. The Terminate dialogue will appear, showing a warning about irreversible data deletion.

  5. Click Confirm Terminate to proceed. The hosting slot will be removed immediately from your list, and all associated data will be deleted.

Reference After Termination

When a hosting slot is terminated, a reference record is left behind in your Reseller Hub. This record is for your own auditing purposes and allows you to keep a log of previously hosted sites.

If you want to tidy up your list in the future, you can remove this reference:

  1. Go to the Actions menu next to the terminated slot reference.
  2. Select Delete Ref to permanently remove the record from your Hub.
